Dispute Resolution

We work with you to plot a course through the minefield of dispute resolution to reach a positive and economical resolution.

About Us

We’re experienced in the Building, Construction and Claims sectors and we know how to help.

Contract Guidance
We know you’re great at what you do.

We also know that contracts can be big, ugly, gnarly things, filled with complex conditions and the plain fact is, that if you don’t understand all of your obligations, especially when and how you submit your payment claims, you may find yourself losing money or facing a dispute.  If you don’t fulfil all of the requirements of your contract you could be in breach of your contract, giving the principal construction/development company grounds to delay or even simply not pay your progress payment.

QLDBCCC can help you understand your contractual obligations so you’re always on the front foot when it comes to submitting your progress payment claims, claiming variations, responding to claims and other contractual notices.

Dispute Resolution
Disputes on construction projects can happen for all sorts of reasons and unfortunately they’re not uncommon!

Sometimes disputes are simply unavoidable but when they do arise, it’s important to follow the right process to reach an economical and fair resolution. When applicable, adjudication is a quick and cost effective option and is usually a lot cheaper than engaging in litigation.

Disputes can happen for many reasons – a builder or principal  not paying a claim; a subcontractor or supplier delivering sub-standard work or products or one of the parties failing to comply with the required contract processes. Whatever the reason, QLDBCCC is here to help you navigate through the dispute resolution process so that you can move on and get back to doing what you do best – delivering a great project outcome.

Disputes often occur when there is a difference of opinion over what your contract requires. If this is the case, it’s important to follow the right processes to reach a resolution, including knowing what you contract stipulates, as failure to do so could leave you with no legal rights.

QLDBCCC has the right experience to help you through the adjudication process and our team make sure you are ticking all the right boxes.

We don’t provide legal advice, but we have the experience it takes to guide you through the process, take care of all of the paperwork and prepare you for what happens during adjudication and beyond.

We can help you achieve a fair and equitable outcome that is fast and affordable.
